XL

XL is the new international co-production of Xarxa Teatre and Générik Vapeur. A big party to celebrate the 40 years of trajectory of both companies.

The show is conceived as a unique experience for the spectator We achieve this by adapting the show to the particularities of the city where we are going to perform, adapting the dramaturgy to the urban space and using a popular song of the place as leitmotiv. In this way we intend to make the audience abandon the role of passive spectator to make them participate in the show itself, becoming the protagonist through dance and song.

XL is a big party with the characteristic elements of Generik and Xarxa. It is celebration, it is tradition, it is magic, it is fantasy, … But it is also reality, it is truth, it is actuality … XL is life itself, it is awakening.

XL is to vindicate large-format street theater; it is to recover the street as a scenic space. It is to celebrate with all of you that we have been 40 years sharing our essence in the streets all over the world.
